Aranova began with a simple frustration: every "nature resort" near Hyderabad felt like a banquet hall with some potted plants. So we built something else — cottages tucked between real trees, trails that go somewhere, and evenings with nothing scheduled except a bonfire and the sound of crickets. Sherkhanpally gave us the land; we tried not to overdesign what it already had.
